Advanced Graphite Earthing Systems Series
AGES is designed for effective earthing of sensitive electronics and communication systems operating
in deserts, snow bound areas or water logged conditions. Graphite Mold around an electrode provides high electrical and thermal conductivity. It keeps the electrode inert against any chemical agents and temperature variations. Garphite Mold envelop is insoluble in water and acts as a sponge for shortcircuit currents facilitating quick clearance of fault and operation of safety breakers. The Graphite Electrode has high thermal stability and is tested to handle 300 KA of short circuit current for 1 second.

Construction and Working Principle
The material used is high grade Graphite powder. The compound is molded around a 16mm copper
clad rod. A copper terminal is exothermically welded to the rod. A phosphate coating around the mould provides additional strength to the electrode. When used along with Soil Enhancement Material
a better soil contact can be achieved and reduce contact resistance.
